Groups

Closed-cohort, curriculum-based therapy groups on the skills and experiences that come up again and again — boundaries, habit change, emotional vocabulary, burnout, connection, and DBT skills. All groups are telehealth, 53-minute sessions facilitated by Aimee Mills-Viscovich, LICSW. Groups begin once enough people have joined — there's no fixed start date, so add your name to the interest list for whichever group(s) you're interested in and we'll follow up on scheduling.

You Will Find Your People

Loneliness isn't just uncomfortable — it's a real health risk, and it hits neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ adults especially hard. This group is about building real connection with people who actually get it, through a 13-session structure (12 weekly sessions plus a booster session 4–6 weeks after the group ends). The 12 weekly sessions move chapter by chapter through You Will Find Your People and Friendship Skills for Neurodivergent Adults: A Guide for the Anxious, Uniquely Wired, and Easily Distracted, working through why friendship feels harder to build as an adult, what makes a friendship actually work, and how to recognize green flags versus red flags in the people you let close. Later sessions get into real friction — how to fight well, navigating friend breakups and grief, and breaking patterns of choosing people who aren't actually available to you. The group closes with a session on finding and keeping your people, and the booster session four to six weeks later checks in on what's actually stuck.

13 sessions, 53 minutes each. $50/session, or $585 for the full series paid upfront.

Setting Boundaries That Stick

Knowing you need a boundary and actually holding it are two different skills. This 8-week group works on the second one — real, practiced boundary-setting, not just the concept of it. Each week builds on the last: you'll start by defining what a boundary actually is (and isn't), then learn a simple three-part structure for stating one clearly and kindly. From there, the group works through boundaries in the specific relationships where they're hardest to hold — family, friends, romantic partners, and work — with practice and role-play, not just discussion. You'll leave with boundary language you've actually said out loud in the room, not just read about. 8 sessions, 53 minutes each. $50/session, or $360 for the full series paid upfront.

Small Steps, Real Change: An Atomic Habits Skills Group

Willpower isn't the skill — systems are. This 8-week group is about building habits that actually hold up in real life, especially when executive function makes "just do it" advice useless. Drawing on James Clear's Atomic Habits, the group starts with the habit loop itself — cue, craving, response, reward — and how identity-based change works differently than willpower-based change. From there, sessions build out practical systems for making good habits easier and bad ones harder, adapted specifically for brains where executive function makes generic advice fall apart. Every week pairs a concept with a concrete tool you can actually use that same day.

8 sessions, 53 minutes each. $50/session, or $360 for the full series paid upfront.

Seeing Clearly: An Atlas of the Heart Emotions Group

Most of us have far fewer words for our feelings than we actually need — and when we don't have the language, it's hard to talk about what's happening, or even understand it ourselves. Based on Brené Brown's research, this group works through 87 named emotions and experiences across 13 weeks. Each session builds your ability to name what you're actually feeling — not just "good" or "bad" — and to recognize the difference between closely related emotions that call for very different responses. Sessions move through clusters like anxiety and fear, sadness and grief, and connection and love. The goal isn't memorizing a glossary; it's building language you can reach for in the moment you need it.

13 sessions, 53 minutes each. $50/session, or $585 for the full series paid upfront.

DBT Skills Group

Dialectical Behavior Therapy gives you concrete, practiced skills for getting through hard moments. Offered as four shorter series you can join individually — join one or move through all four. Draws on Sonny Jane Wise's The Neurodivergent Friendly Workbook of DBT Skills (2025, 2nd ed.) and the foundational DBT framework developed by Marsha Linehan. The curriculum is organized into four series, each self-contained so you can join the one that's most relevant right now or move through all four over time:

Series 1 — Everyday Well-Being & Mindfulness

Series 2 — Distress Tolerance (includes Radical Acceptance)

Series 3 — Emotional Regulation

Series 4 — Managing Sensory Needs‍ ‍

Skills are taught and practiced in session — things like radical acceptance and grounding techniques — not just discussed conceptually.

53 minutes/session. $50/session, with a discounted rate available when you pay for a full series upfront.

Neurodivergent Burnout Group

Autistic burnout isn't the same as everyday tiredness or a bad week at work — it's a real, often long-building depletion from years of masking, sensory overload, and pushing past your own limits. Based on The Autistic Burnout Workbook: Your Guide to Your Personal Recovery Plan (Self-Care for Autistic People) this group offers a structured, neurodivergent-affirming space to understand what's happening and build a sustainable path back. Sessions move through what autistic burnout actually is and how it's different from depression or a rough patch at work, then into the cost of masking, sensory load, and nervous system regulation. Later weeks focus on sleep and energy pacing, boundaries and self-advocacy, and learning to recognize your own burnout cycle before it fully takes over. The group closes with building a personal, sustainable recovery plan rather than a generic self-care list.

8 sessions, 53 minutes each. $50/session, or $360 for the full series paid upfront.
